La Croissanterie, a socially responsible company, is keen to protect the environment, and is developing its "CARING FOR THE ENVIRONMENT" Programme. This ambitious programme, which is constantly being expanded, is based on close cooperation with a number of partners in the following areas:

Packaging:
  • Dispensing with all plastic bags
  • Kraft paper made using guaranteed chlorine-free bleach
  • Use of recyclable boxes
  • Use of inks which are 83% water-based 
Products:
  • "Dolphin Safe" tuna, fished using nets which pose no danger to dolphins
Transport:
  • Implementation of the "Full truck" procedure
Lighting:
  • LED for signage
  • CFLs
  • Dichroic lightbulbs preferred for ceilings
Energy:
  • Installation of a heat pump
  • Timer-operated A/CAnnual programme for regular maintenance of cold generators
Water:
  • Pedal-operated taps
Decoration:
  • NF environment ecolabel paint
  • "Floor Score" certified floor covering
  • Ethnicraft teak furniture
